While Patriot is a powerful supersoldier, equipped with an array of throwing stars he can use to target adjacent Locations, it is his tactical mind and natural leadership that makes him such a valuable asset to the Young Avengers. He’s able to supply his teammates with free Wild tokens so they can perform any tasks necessary, while he outmaneuvers Threats, pushing them to adjacent Locations.
A replica of Captain America’s original shield, Patriot’s Shield equipment may not be as powerful and versatile as Captain America, since it can’t be used as a ranged weapon. Nevertheless, it does provide Patriot with substantial personal protection.
