The Brood Queen has a single-minded purpose: to swarm the whole galaxy with her Brood. All of her Threat cards are Brood swarms, who will attack the Heroes, and become even stronger if there are Thugs around them for them to use as Brood warriors. The game starts with two Brood in play and more will be added with every BAM and Overflow. Every new Brood grants extra health to their Queen, so Heroes need to keep the swarm in check, also because everything is lost if all Locations are swarmed by the Brood.
